The Renault Kangoo is a safe, efficient and comfortable vehicle.  After the conversion, it is also safe and comfortable for the passenger in the wheelchair. The spacious, easy access through the rear or side door makes the car very user-friendly.

We can offer you a standard conversion on the Renault Kangoo to accommodate a wheelchair with passenger. This conversion comprises of the following modifications to your Renault:

• Lowering the floor over a length of 140 cm (55 inch) and a width of 82 cm (32 inch), bringing the internal height for the wheelchair to 145 cm (57 inch)
• The drive-in height will become 140 cm (55 inch)
• Introduction of a special stainless steel fuel tank of 50 litres (11 gallons)
• Modification of the exhaust system
• Antirust protection and noise reduction provisions for the lowered floor
• Decoration, with a special material, of the lowered floor and the cars’ inside panels
• Relocation of the spare tyre
• Fitting of an thoroughly tested and approved wheelchair locking system
• Fitting of an extra interior light
• Fitting of an electric-hydraulic self-lowering rear suspension system with an aluminum ramp to drive the wheelchair into the vehicle in a convenient way
