Multi-plex wiring is a new form of manufacturing and installation used by the motor manufacturers. It is a very complicated system that operates in a similar way to a computer keyboard i.e. lots of different functions which are communicated down a single wire. This makes it very difficult to carry out some electrical adaptations like Infrared controllers mounted on a steering wheel, however, advances have been made in the industry and we can overcome most problems but as in all things, it increases the cost. Please contact us to discuss your application and see it this technology effects your vehicle.
Depending on what is required although if it is not available on one of our demonstration vehicles, we may have a vehicle in build in the workshop that will allow you to see or even try the product. All of our wheelchair accessible vehicles are available for demonstration so just give us a call to arrange the details.
Yes, we always try to insure that regardless of the complexity of the conversion, the vehicle can still be driven using the standard vehicle functions. This is imperative for carers or if the vehicle has to go to a main dealer for servicing.
Your vehicle will still be serviced by the manfacturing dealer i.e if its a Renault Kangoo - Drive from Wheelchair, it will be serviced by your local Renault dealer. Anything relating to the conversion of the vehicle will be maintained by ourselves or an authorised agent within the UK.
